Acer Aspire E1-571 :: No Audio Output Device Is Installed - Sound With Crackling Noises Sep 1, 2014 I recently received this acer laptop as a gift. A cold boot does not correct the problem. Dec 29, 2008 does the acer aspire 5583 support 5. It appears win 7 and maybe vista has its own cpu throttling and if selected in bios the two conflict with the end result the audio throttles to nothing after crackling and also appears to have a intermittent effect on the video as well, certainly has an effect in the media centre. I have also emailed acer and enquired about what they think it might be. The crackling got worse and worse so I Decided to restart the laptop and then the sound stopped working altogether. I really need sound to work as some programs crash if they dont detect a sound output and also for monitoring audio recordings.
Oct 3, 2014 Few days ago my laptop has this problem, whenever i use battery, meaning im not charging my laptop. My built in speakers are not functioning. !!! And of course you do have the latest driver showing the right version in Device Manager - Sound. Let me explain my setup first. I found a post that said to simply install flash player to ie before firefox or something. There are so many potential causes for this.
I can temporarily fix this sometimes when I take the harddrive out for about 8-9 hrs and put back in again, but after I reboot or turn it off and turn it on again the crackling and popping noises come back. Since then i have tried numerous things to fix the problem including following all the steps i recieved from another online forum. Shutting down, disconnecting the power supply, removing the battery then restarting has corrected the problem so far. Or you may not see the option the disable enhancements at all. Recently, something must have bashed against it, as I noticed the plastic bars covering what I can only guess is the 'fan' at the back have been snapped off. The driver you're using for that could be not so great causing interference in your pc operating well. I've also fixed machines with this problem by going into bios and generally making sure things are correct.
Dec 5, 2010 New Latitude E6510 running Win7 Pro 64 bit. I have tried having my husband uninstall and reinstall the audio driver in case it was corrupted, I may have him try again, but I am still so confused and unsure of what to do. Anyone else have this issue? Uninstalled the sound software and downloaded a new one and it was working fine. I have updated the Audio driver, but it is the up to date driver. I am sending this message from the same computer. I cant remember the sequence now but it got rid of my cracking audio problems. . With Vista it cropped up once every two days or so, but for now i have no problems.
Just a question: how long do you have the laptop on before the crackling begins? I am running windows vista on an acer aspire 5715z and have been doing since i got it just over a year ago. Using the latest sound-card drivers January 2007 from Dell. Then expand Minimum processor state as well. Hope this cures your ills! I then installed ubuntu and everything still worked fine. I usually carry my lap top in my bookbag to class and I was wondering if maybe my books in my bookbag might had damaged both of my computers.
