The first dealership we took the car to said it was normal after the oil test and so when it happened again I took it somewhere else. Moreover, I have always filled up the tank with the highest quality gas. The first month I had the car I needed to add oil under 1K miles. Audi Aus just wont have a bar? I dont know if I have any ground to stand on when it comes to the lemon law but this is ridiculous. Why should this thread exist from what I thought was the best German manufacturer of quality cars! My car was out of warranty by two years at the time, which was in 2014 How did you go along with the process! The car has only 53 000 miles.

Gradually it got worse and at 38,000 miles my car oil signal was coming on every 300 miles. Up to 90% Next day after 1hr driving 65 % oil. Mine is currently in for Stage 2 and I have a brand new Loaner. . This is great news and Bath Audi have been excellent.

All Audi drivers facing this issue should visit and fill out our form. They said that there was nothing wrong with it and just gave me the keys back. It's a very expensive one is the answer and quality should ride with it!! I've currently been adding 1 quart every 250-300 miles. Very curious that no other car in the world has a Warm Weather package. The 5 year warranty expired, we did not buy the extended warranty.

I will never buy a car from them again. We invite all Audi customers who have any questions or concerns relating to newly discovered or previously reported oil consumption with 2. I talked to the mechanic at the dealership about this and he told me it is normal for Audi to consume oil and to just come in when ever the car needs more oil. This happened on July 23rd. This is my fourth and final Audi…. I have had it taken back 2-3 times after that. At the end of the day it's personal choice but the numbers don't seem to add up do they? Then, you add in a turbocharger, and boost pressure on a cold engine, and this just makes everything happen at a much faster rate, and even richer fuel to air ratios.

The biggest issue in Europe is sub-zero temperatures, this has a big impact on choosing oils but even so modern cars are designed for a global market with expectation that those engines need to operate in Moscow and Saudie Arabia. Today, January,2014 car has 26,141 miles. Had to send to Germany to interface-cool. I expect to be fully reimbursed for this it also has problems with the transmission when it starts from 0. It should be noted that sometimes you will not notice the blue smoke in the exhaust, as it will not be thick enough, though you will still be consuming oil.

Over time this problem gets worse, and the range you can drive before needing to add oil steadily drops. I can live with and my engine runs perfectly. My engine low oil light came on. Do we have any recourse?!! Please let me know if I can get help. And then if it passes… make them do it again just before the warranty runs out! The mileage was usually ~1000 miles driven, but has now dropped to ~800 miles every 3 weeks! I drove mine hard right after the 50km mark, I didnt have high oil consumption issue.

I contacted Audi of America to ask for assistance and they denied due to multiple owners, not purchased from an Audi dealer. In March 2015 I personally had the stage 3 fix, i. Based on the dealer recommendation, it paid for the piston ring redo. I probably should have kept it in sports mode over that 1000km. Think that's also helped my case. I took it back to the dealership. I have to constantly add oil to the car between changes.
