Hello I downloaded this morning 2 torrents files without any problem via bittorrent I use a normal modem and no proxy. My torrents had been working all the way up until now and I had not forwarded my ports. If I manually add the torrent anyway, they finish quickly. Sometimes we need to reset the setting to take advantage of the new software settings. I wish torrent clients would just let you force the private flag on in other words, act like it is set for all torrents that have a given tracker listed. Haven't seen that message before. Getting red X in circle at bottom right.
Do I need to locate and install an older version of uTorrent? I really don't know what to do at this point. Is there anything I can do to resolve this? My uTorrent has been broken for a few days. I did notice that there is some click-baiting in the installer when I ran it. This fast tutorial will show you guys how to fix the utorrent connecting to peers problem on windows 10. I haven't tried it yet as I am afraid of blowing away all of the torrents I currently have. So updating the client actually made it so that my torrents stopped working.
I still can not connect. After a manual search if I add a torrent that I know, or at least believe, have a good number of seeds, even though Sonar reports zero seeds, the torrent downloads just fine. I have changed the port a few times. Torrenting for purely legal purposes of course. Make sure the value is not too small.
I realize that the original format of the post was confusing, so, before you start reading it, here is a summary of solutions. Guess I'll have to find a download for an older version. How can I solve the problem? Just yesterday I noticed my torrents were stuck at 0 progress and not connected to any peers whatsoever. Though I have read reports from others for which doing so did not solve the same problem I am experiencing. I checked the port and it is not blocked. Utorrent connecting to peers problem fix 3.
I tried uninstalling and reinstalling uTorrent the program I've been using for years. I installed the bittorrent apkg and rebooted several times. You will lose all the torrents and settings so save them first I selected them all and copied the magnet links, then added them back one by one afterwards. I even clicked the manual download button on one of them and it started downloading without issue in Deluge. When I try to run the file, it simply won't install, even when running it as an administrator.
Do you know what it means?. Bittorrent needs a lot of connections: to find peers, to download and upload stuff, to open new connections in order to find the faster one, etc. I haven't used a torrent client in a while, so I thought I would try installing uTorrent. As a result, it didn't load anymore. Anyone know how to fix? Last edited by kfc August 8 2014 use bitcomet and the Emule plugin it offers that will increase your chances at finding more seeds it helped me alot and you also need to configure your router and forward a random port in the 20k+ ranges then make your torrent client use it it will look up more seeds Don't jump on old topics unless you have a question regarding them. I saved links to another folder and that's when I noticed torrents connecting properly again.
Perhaps just blindly updating the version of Bittorrent all the time is not the best option. I also haven't been able to play Borderlands 2 online. Not sure if this is related to my torrent problem at all but thought I would mention it. I just started having this issue and came across this post through a google search. Edit: Did a quick googe search and apparently 2. I didn't change anything, didn't install any new security programs. Just an update on this issue: Kickass is still very slow on updating seed information for newly added torrents it can take up to 6 hours.
If I manually add the torrent anyway, they finish quickly. Hopefully this is the last time the problem appears. I am still receiving this error. I went to that link and it said something about them supporting up until BitTorrent 7. It lets me know that I helped you guys out which is awesome. Solutions or test instructions would be greatly appreciated.
