The production and mixing was so clean I wasn't even upset about the length. Additionally, comments deemed overtly racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic, etc. Jadakiss juice said it was his fav meechy song to date. Everyone does their thing in the verses too and the hook is really fun.
How does it compare to their previous projects? I definitely wouldn't say it's selling out and don't know why people think that over one song. A really refreshing sound from them, I thought 3001 got a bit grating to listen to all the way through but I found myself with a smile on my face front to back with this except during trapped. The only thing would change would be to make it longer. Juice, Meechy and Erick return for their highly anticipated follow up to 3001: A Laced Odyssey. Juice's second verse is even better than his first.
Jadakiss - I believe Meech used his verse from this on Hot 97 but I might be wrong. Bun B - The beat on this one is pretty dark, almost reminiscent of a 3001 beat. Personally, ViH was one of my most anticipated releases in 2018 and it didn't disappoint. I feel like I've been listening to it constantly and I've only managed 4. Bison - This one is gonna be an absolute banger on their tour. Vacation with Joey bad is also up there on top of my list but I love them all.
Bison unparalleled hip hop bars. While Juice is spitting, Erick puts in some great notes from a choir into the beat and it sounds amazing. Big Shrimp - I really like Kirk Knight's beat on this, its chill but still kinda hard too. Looking forward to the imminent Beast Coast project. Each of them came with stupid hard verses. Big Shrimp never disappointed when I was in the mood for a banger, still dosen't. Juice said it was his fav meechy verse ever. And earlier this week, a documentary on the band dubbed Building a Ladder was released.
The Man giving another very radio-friendly chorus just adds to this forced, cross-over feel. I don't even know why, I just couldn't stop listening to it. It's like everything I loved about their sound has been replaced by super safe production. I felt like I literally got to go on a hour and some change long vacation. I hope he gets more recognition.
Leather symphony feat asap twelvvy 8. In summary: I really enjoyed this album, interesting beats, great verses, solid features and still true to their sound while maturing at the same time. Least favorite: none Sorry if this was shitty I've never posted any write up or anything, and I'm high af. Bun B killed his verse. Overall thoughts on the album? Has it Leaked is not a download site.
My favourite moment has to be Dia's part on Chunky, the way the beat just slows down and you get that chilling guitar riff in the background before it explodes back into Erick's verse. Singing has to add something to a song other than being present just to appeal to a wider audience. Juice brings some of his best work, Erick always does his thing and Meechy is straight flexing through the whole thing which I love. I was skeptical that I'd like it, but that became one of my absolute favorite albums and I immediately became a huge fan of theirs. Vacation in Hell is just one of three new 2018 projects from Flatbush Zombies. My biggest surprise when listening to this was that it seems like Juice is the star here.
