I don't want to hate a baby, but Flurry Heart isn't a character that should ever have been added to the show in the state she is now. We cut to sometime later where Twilight is back at the castle flying Flurry Heart all around the place something I would think is much more dangerous than taking care of her while busy and Cadence and Shining Armor burst through the door; unable to bear being apart from Flurry Heart another second! Just means people are liking the show I like all the more. This episode as brought Flurry Hearts in my favorite Ponies tier when before it she was just…. I bring this up because last season, while an excellent season all around, had quite a few instances of characters in the Mane 6 learning lessons that they really should have known by that point in the show, and oftentimes they came off as either jerks or stupid because of it. What a monster, I guess.
In all honesty, I actually do think shifting some of the focus of the show away from the main six can be a good thing. It is nothing great, but it has amusing bits, and it breaks up the monotony of the main story. Twilight flies around with Flurry, growling like a bear. The visit ends in disaster, with Flurry using her magic to levitate the sick children and hospital staff, causing a scene. It's certainly my favourite Flurry Heart episode, although that's not exactly terrible! But Twilight learns because of this that she needs to pay more attention to Flurry and the two end the day happily together.
Spike also happens to find that other balloon, but then it pops. I love this episode so much, very life-relating. Overall, I thought that Princess McFlurry was an absolute treat to watch this time around, and Tabitha St. Cheerilee then suggests something called Gusty the Great. More specifically, Cadence and Shining Armor have a friend in town that is having an art exhibition and are using it as an excuse to get away from the baby for a few hours. Seeing him accomplish a good deed like this on his own and feel rewarded is a breath of fresh air. He is rather laid back and cool for an artist, instead of a typical snoot.
So please be patient with me on this, Also, This journal contains spoilers for Season 7 Episode 3 of My Little Pony Friendship is Magic, if you wish to avoid Spoilers please watch the episode first before continuing, You have been warned. There was also a pretty neat reference to the G1 villain, Grogar considered the second most evil G1 villain behind Tirek in the story Twilight was telling to the fillies and colts at the hospital, but whether anything else comes of that remains to be seen. It was actually nice to show how sometimes Flurry Heart can run her parents ragged, but also remind them of how much they love her. Think about it, we had not one but two very powerful magic users three if you count the few times Cadance used magic, but she barely did here , oftentimes using magic at the same time and sometimes on the same things, and one of them was also an infant, which meant that the magic had to look as though it were being employed, to some extent, by a baby who doesn't entirely know what she's doing all the time. Anyway, they're discussing having Twilight visit some foals at the hospital. We begin with Twilight Sparkle having a chat in the Castle of Friendship with none other than Nurse Redheart.
Added to that, it really has come a long way in fleshing out the world. This concludes my review for episode three. Like a big scary bear. Now the primary focus, which is cute baby stuff, is… fine. Namely, it is visiting an art gallery to support a friend of theirs.
Twilight realizes she freaked her out by yelling at her like a growling bear. This was yet another nice, comfortable episode to start this new season with. Cadance has a rather scary wide-eyed look for a few seconds in this scene And that's about it, I think, other than to mention that parasprite plushies are a thing in this world too I have one and that Spearhead is the most interesting Royal Guard we've seen yet. I mean, get a load of this face, can you even imagine seeing something like this in Season 1 or Season 2? A Flurry of Emotions is not without faults or low points. So yeah, I liked it. As for Twilight, like I said.
A trip with Zecora to the zebra lands? They spend a few minutes looking for an appropriate book to read to the kids including a fairytale book a Space pony book and a dragon hero book al the while Flurry Heart is drawing on the Chalkboard. While I have never hated Flurry, I have never been a fan. However, her cutie mark has changed from a filled red cross to an open one with a heart within it, likely to avoid issues over the trademark owned by. In season six, I felt that Flurry Heart had a lot of untapped potential, but the episodes she appeared in were either boring or frustrating to sit through. This only makes them furious at her and escalates the fight to a. Shining in fact confuses a trash can for an art piece. Then there's Flurry Heart herself.
Hopefully they keep that up for Season 7 and I prey for the movie! She picks up the cupcakes for the foals at the hospital, but also wants some apology snacks for Cheerilee and the salespony at the toystore. Anywho, Twilight pays Cheerilee a visit at the schoolhouse, looking for a book to read to the foals at the hospital. To figure out which flair to set, refer to. All in all, a pretty cute and nice episode, and, surprisingly, makes you feel good Flurry Heart joined the cast. And when it comes to the characters.
Food and presents always cheer Spike up. I haven't yet decided what to do about review scheduling here. Twilight realizes that she wasn't giving Flurry the attention that she wanted and was the worst aunt ever. That could be a good thing or a bad thing. This is something you see done normally for a more serious show. They are there to see a pop-up art show from one of Shining's friends, Spearhead, and ask if Twilight can watch Flurry Heart for a few hours. Neither expect a visit from Shining Armor and Cadence, who come asking if Twilight could babysit Flurry for a day.
Having an infant in the same room as children affected with potentially contagious hives is a terrible idea, even if said infant has super powers. Conversely, don't give someone an important and demanding task without notice, particularly when that someone is known to be very busy. Twilight suggests he borrow that for himself. You gotta be able to agree to disagree, especially on something as trivial as what someone thinks about an episode of a show. Twilight can leave Flurry with Pumpkin and Pound Cake while she conducts her business with Pinkie Pie. They need Twilight to watch Flurry Heart while they get some much needed alone time.
